She was reading. Sitting just on the other side of the table. We were both strangers both alone. That was when I noticed that she was crying. A tear ran over her cheek and fell down into the book. She didn’t look up. Just kept reading. She knew I was there but still she did nothing to hide her feelings. With all my body I wanted to console her. To hold her in my arms and let her cry. But I could do nothing. Couldn’t speak nor move. I just kept pretending to read my own book. She had slowly stopped crying but her sorrow was still visible in her eyes. So young and beautiful. A Single TearA single tear falls from her cheek. A drop of blood. As so many times before. Just sitting there on the floor. Lonely and shivering as if she should die. And that is what she wants. To leave this sad world. Go to sleep and never awake Cause no one sees her tears.A Single Tear
She closes her pretty eyes. Just waiting. Waiting for the night to come and carry her away
And it does. She rises in the shining light. Unfolding her bloodstained wings. The wings of an angel
As the world grows dark she is carried away To a world of endless dream
